Why would anyone bother voting in the presidential election in Massachusetts? Even Mitt didn't win the state. Other than Ronnie, the state hasn't voted Republican since before JFK. There is no US Senate election this year. All the Massachusetts Congressional districts are safe seats that are automatic for the incumbent Democrat so there's no point voting for a Congressman.

True. However we were having a discussion in the Western Mass thread about how the Mass forums is very boring compared to Connecticut. I thought I would steal some ideas from them. The marijuana election might be close though so that'll be fun to watch.
Have to agree with Geoff, I'm technically an independent and favor ideals from both parties, but I tend to lean conservative so my vote is pretty worthless. I can't get on the Trump bandwagon though. I'll probably look for a viable 3rd party candidate and cast my vote there. Not quite sold on Johnson....yet

Not a bad idea. Can only take so much "where should I live/what schools are the best" threads.
I'll be voting for Hillary because Trump would be a disaster. No matter how good it looks, you can't get complacent. If you don't vote, you lose your right to ***** about politics.
As an aside, I'm really happy to now be residing in a place with good representation in Congress. I had a terrible Congressional rep before, one horrible Senator and one okay Senator.

I'm a small government/value-for-my-tax-dollar fiscal conservative, social liberal. Neither political party comes anywhere near my views at the Federal level. The Jessie Helms/Bill Weld ambassador thing was 19 years ago and kind of captures what the national Republican party thinks of people with my point of view.
I liked Rand, but will vote Trump. You couldn't pay me to vote from Hillary. Will also be writing someone...anyone...in for my congressional district. Unfortunately, I'm guessing he will be unopposed. Really can't stand any of the pols that supposedly represent me in this state. None of them do. Yeah, would love to leave, but not in the cards at the moment.

Not sure, probably none of the above. I think Bernie would be a bad president, but he's the only one I'd be happy voting for.
