We are new to the area and looking for a reasonably priced sofa (we have young kids who will trash it). Can anyone speak to the quality of Jordan's Furniture vs Boston Interiors? Thanks!

I've had good experiences with both stores and I think each sells good quality furniture. The one thing I will say is that the furniture in Jordan's "outlet" section seems to be of lower quality than the rest of the store.

If your kids are just going to trash it and it's not in a room where you'll likely have guests then you could go even cheaper like a Bob's Discount Furniture or Bernie & Phyl's Furniture.

It's not the store, it's the manufacturer. A little internet research will tell you which sofa is a better choice.

I agree with Casey. Boston Interiors has good quality furniture. You can get the same quality at Jordan's- but Jordan's also sells some junk. Checking the manufacturer and construction is important- 8 way hand tied springs, kiln dried frames on sofas etc.... good luck. I have purchased from both stores and have been pleased with the customer service and quality at both.

I have never used Boston Interiors, but I have bought two sectionals and a couch from Jordan's. The sectionals held up extremely well to daily child and cat abuse for over 10 years. Jordan's definitely has a broad range of quality and the prices reflect that. The furniture we purchased was not inexpensive.
We just bought the couch at Jordans and are very pleased with the quality and the custom fabric selection. I have heard good things about Boston Interiors as well.

Just realized this was a resurrected thread...
