Somebody will have to help me fill in the blank on this restaurant's name; the second of the two words is "Moon." It's on Huron Ave in West Cambridge, and is wildly popular with families who have young kids. From what I've seen, they have toys and games on the premises that put McDonald's play areas to shame. And the children's menu goes beyond the typical choice of burger or chicken fingers or mac n' cheese. On late weekend afternoons it sounds like recess at elementary school in there! With the original Henry Bear's Park toy store just down the street, a kid's day is made.

Full Moon! A great place!! Mine are older now, but if you've got little ones, there's something for everyone on the menu

We went and we weren't that impresse with the food or the prices. They did have a nice section for the kids though.

We ended up getting take out, maybe that's the answer until they're in college.

Johnny D's in Somerville is super kid-friendly during early dinner hours, with toys and everything. We also frequent the S & S in Inman Square. Our baby (well, I guess he's officially a "toddler" now) loves Tex-Mex so anywhere that serves it is popular, as well.

I love Full Moon, especially for lunch!

I second the Mario's on Mass. Ave in Lexington Center...also Bertucci's on Mass. Ave in Lexington Center is pretty family w/ kids oriented with the crayons and bread etc when you sit down.

I really like Full Moon in Huron Village Cambridge as well. That has a small tots play area. Parking is an issue and if you can't walk there then parking on a busy thurs - Sunday meal times can be very tough. The food is great and none of that crummy kids meals served up most other places.

Mario's is very reasonable $$ wise and we go about once a month,- homemade taste - great lasagna ---one dish serves two easy.
