So glad I was wrong about the chargers. Wish he stayed with pats. I didn’t see Tampa bay coming. Crazy. Apparently he wants to be on the same time zone as his oldest son who is in NYC. So glad spanos and la didn’t get him. To me that is a positive thing for 2020

I don’t understand why he went to a team that gave up the 2nd most points in the NFL. Assuming the 2020 season actually happens, that’s not a playoff team.

Is it likely the season won’t happen because of coronavirus? This is crazy.

I can’t believe Tom Brady is going to play for the Tampa bay buccaneers. In the end he was swayed by the bucks err bucs.

Not sure how this is going to go for him. I don’t see him winning a super bowl with them nor did I see him winning one with the chargers. End of the an era. Someone else’s turn I guess.

NFC South is, in theory, an easier path to the playoffs than some of his other options (e.g., the Chargers).

If he went to the chargers he’d have to face the chiefs.

So...now what do the Pats do regarding a QB?

I was really surprised to read that TB12 was going to TB. I would have thought he'd want to go to a major city where he could build his TB12 fitness brand.

From what I know of the Bucaneers they actually have a great defense. The 30 INTs their old quarterback threw last year probably had more to do with how many points they gave up than the defense did.

Pats have a lot of question marks at a lot of positions so just add this one to the list. Even if they had retained every player from last year that team still had a lot of holes.

As an aside, it was really disappointing to see Diggs go to Buffalo. That's definitely a very talented WR we could have used here. Now that we're going to be starting a less talented QB we'll need to have more talent at the other skill positions.

When I think about it, the only position the team is "OK" at talent wise on the offensive side of the ball is RB. Almost every other position or at least position group could use an upgrade over last year.

The defensive side of the ball took a hit so far as well. We've lost nearly all of our starting LBs. LBs are usually fairly replaceable in the NFL. Both McCourty's are getting REALLY old and we need to work on replacing them. Patrick Chung is not very durable anymore either and we could really use an edge rusher so that we're not so dependent upon blitzes to create pressure on the QB.

The chargers are a poor team. Even the glitz and glamor and possibilities of opportunity in LA couldn’t lure Tom in. He doesn’t need LA.
