I think it would depend on the route and direction you were coming from.

Well, your radius doesn't match the roadways available, so I tend to think, no.

at the very least you want to be in a suburb north of Boston. you will slog through traffic just to get to Boston if you are south of it. Then it will be a long commute to Beverly.

You may be able to include everything inside 495 from 90 going north if you are including Portsmouth (which is probably a couple of minutes short of a 1 hr trip).

Nope.

What are you looking for in a location? Single? Family? Budget?

Sorry to ask the obvious, but why not Beverly?

You don't want to try to commute from Portsmouth, NH to Beverly, and *definitely* not Manchester, NH. I'd say Exeter, NH, Haverhill, MA, maybe Andover, MA... Reading, MA is definitely okay, as are Gloucester and even Rockport, MA. These days traffic is fairly light, but that won't last.

Not south of I90 [Mass Pike] for sure. There is not a good reason to be any further south of Waltham. why not just stay in Beverly or the surrounding towns - what do you like to gain by driving an hr ?

Yeah, I asked the same.

Hopefully the OP comes back.
