I find it much easier to ignore ads online than I do to ignore them on TV.
Yeah it’s much easier online. Although it still can be annoying. I was watching a 30 minute segment from Australian 60 Minutes on YouTube and I must have got at least 12 commercials. Literally every 2-3 minutes. At least I could skip them.
Anyway, the morning news is always playing in the background at my work. Sometimes it seems like half the commercials are for Dan O’Brien. I work odd hours and sometimes the TV will be in the background when they’re still playing infomercials. He has his own. I don’t know how much revenue this guy must generate or at least have to blow on advertising.
He’s a car dealer with a bald head and a thick luscious beard. If you have no idea who I’m talking about then you haven’t been in the vicinity of a TV in Massachusetts in the last 5 years or so.
I've been been in the vicinity of a TV, but there's no reason to show me ads for a car dealer from Concord, NH. For the most part, they are tailored to your location.

Yeah but you have to turn the TV on.
