Hi,

After about a decade in tiny apartments, we want to move somewhere with a lot more space and more rural feel. I work in North Waltham roughly where Route 2 crosses 95, and have been looking at places in the Harvard area. Google Maps suggests the drive would typically be 26-40 minutes from Harvard or Bolton in the morning via Route 2, but maybe the Google algorithm has adjusted itself for coronavirus-levels of traffic? Sounds a little optimistic to me.

Does anyone do a similar commute, and if so, how long does it usually take?
Thanks!

It is possible that on a good day you could see a 40min commute. But I would say more like an hour to be safe. Up until recently I commuted from Ayer to Somerville and the hang ups began at Rt. 27 in Acton and it didn't let up until 128. Corona has changed the timing obviously but it pretty much sucks for that whole commute.
