To be perfectly frank, it wasn’t a difficult decision. There’s a narrative that abortion must always be mired in regret or indecision that doesn’t mirror my own experience or that of many women I know. It was an unpleasant medical procedure, though.

Yu don't even consider the possibility that this has nothing to do with voting along party ines and everything to do with agreeing on the merit?

Exactly. A medical procedure.

That is not my experience talking to Democrats. They all support women's rights to health.

Actually don't even bother answering, because I have a feeling your answer is going to be disturbing.

That is a pretty sick misogynist view. Why am I not surprised.
Glad, so glad, the law passed.
No their parents should be involved. I generally have more faith in the parents as caregivers than the state unless it's a truly abusive situation which is an entirely different picture. We just happen to come from different backgrounds. I see family and parental involvement as a positive. You don't. Not gonna change I guess.

Women's right to health is not the same as letting a 16-year-old have an abortion on their own. That is bat$hit crazy stuff.

Which is why a minor's parents need to be involved like they are with EVERY other medical procedure.

That's a good point, I didn't mean to imply that it was for you. Just trying to highlight the general cowardly nature of attacking people for having an abortion without any perspective whatsoever.

So you think forcing a teenager to carry a pregnancy to term and deliver against her will is a better option? Do the teenager’s parents then have sole guardianship of the baby?
