They do that anyway. But suggest that voters show an ID and see what happens.

It is not real if complaint and will not allow you on a plane or yo vote. Keep in mind being illegal is not a protected class. There has never been a court action of law stating otherwise. If a good or service is to the general public that's fine. Anyone can enter a store of take a bus.

If course it could also mean an easier way to get them to sign up for selective service if they are students

I think we have to face it that it is not Illegal to be Illegal in Mass.

I am tossed on this one. On one hand we have a segment of our society that is driving around without even having to have passed a drivers written test or taken the road test so that is a danger.

On the other hand we have a segment of our society that is here ILLEGALLY and they should not be handed what the state tells us is a privilege.

Our dearly elected tell us that these poor people only want to get to their jobs and back home safely BUT isn't it still Illegal for a business to hire Illegal Aliens? So what job are they talking about?

Ultimately this comes down to voting Rights and Charlie Baker is concerned with this. They tell us this is impossible because these will be special licenses that will not register someone to vote. When it comes to "special" something in this state that caters to a certain segment there is always a concern of stigma.

There was a time, and it is still probably going on, when EBT card fraud was rampant, where people were scamming the system with multiple cards. It was suggested that the cards include a photo identifying the bearer but that was shot down by Deval Patrick because he did not want the people to be further stigmatized...

I think our state and the country as a whole is fast approaching a time where Illegal Aliens are normalized and given the same Rights as any other Immigrant. Talk about a real slap in the face to anyone that waded through the red tape, paid the price and was patient to become a Legal Immigrant.

There will come a time when the politicians throw their hands in the air in defeat and just accept the good with the bad. They already tell us that these people only come here to work and pay their taxes so how long will it be before some bright bulb stands up in Congress and says that it is terrible how we have 20+ Million people that face "Taxation without Representation" and we will be done.
