The drive thru is timed so they prioritize it. Back in the early 2000s I think they had 2:30 min per car. No idea what it is now.

They definitely do prioritize it. I try and avoid drive-thru's and often find myself going in and not being noticed for a good 5 mins or so because the staff are all running around tending to drive-thru orders.
