No excuse for this crap. These people shouldn't have kids.

And there's apparently also a referee shortage going on due to the abuse they are taking from the parents as well. I can't imagine how pathetic their own lives must be where they need to live through their kids to that extent.

During covid it seems like a ref shortage began as well at least for hockey.

Parents can often put a lot of blame on a coach from someone's confidence level to how often they get played to losing games. Usually if parents have that much of an issue with a coach they move their kid to a different team. I guess that's harder if the kid is at a school. Sounds like the coach isn't going to be missing much by leaving. It's the kids I feel bad for in the end.

It's disturbing how these parents are ganging up on these coaches.

I don't understand how a parent could think it's acceptable. They must be less emotionally mature than the kids.

The irony that this is a Christian high school.

None of that matters these days

You'd think the parents would want to act like actual adults. Hard to understand what people are thinking.

I'm not familiar with Spellman, but there's not much "Catholic" about most of these schools anymore.

Matters because parents are sending their kids to learn Christian values yet they don’t seem to model that behavior themselves.

I don't know anyone in these parts who said they sent their kids to a private Catholic school for Christian values. They send their kids to private Catholic schools so they can get an actual education - which many won't get in crap urban (and in some cases suburban) public schools. I don't see any evidence that the people involved in this bullying are living by the teachings of Jesus Christ, so I don't imagine any of them had that in their mind when they picked the school.
