I don’t know why folks think I’m mad at these poor kids. Maybe it’s my fault for being unclear but my issue is not with the families/kids that are being uprooted every 4-6 months and relocated.

My gripe is with the city/state/fed for not providing additional resources for the school to accommodate. That is where my frustration is. As of right now, there’s been no additional resources allocated to an already strained situation.

I believe I mentioned that in the other thread about the migrants when this all started. The state makes deals with various hotels and only then notifies the city or towns. When they inquire as to whether or not the state will provide compensation for the added burden on the schools, they get no commitment. You know what that means.

What already strained tree do you suppose that the city/state/fed shakes to get the additional resources?

How better to bankrupt the country, which is the plan?

The DHS press release regarding this money actually crows about "providing unprecedented resources". It appears to be some form of mass insanity. Interest on the national debt is projected to grow from 1.9% of GDP in 2022 to 6.7% in 2053.

This has me wondering if we will be able to find a decent hotel should we attend the gathering. They will be living on the western end of the Cape near the bridges.

Does anyone know how long they're keeping "migrants" in the hotels? If they still are in hotels when we plan to visit, would it be difficult to find a decent hotel for ourselves? Thank you in advance for any info.
Who cares why? Stay at an Air B&B.

The Bedbug Budget Inn is booked solid.

Wasn't Healey's budget close to a billion just for the people in the hotels and shelters?
