I'm not sure how that lawsuit is in any way similar to the one posted about here. The father was suing the school because he felt his daughter should have been admitted based on her test scores which were better than some of the kids who were being admitted.

They felt their daughter was missing out an opportunity that was being given to students not as good as her. Nothing like the topic being discussed her. nice try.

its a public school. Theyre not under any legal obligation to admit only the highest test scorers

Exam school.

Academically selective institution.

Entrance test (exam) result is a criteria for admission.

It's an exam school that her parents and siblings had attended...then she was rejected even though she had higher scores than others. There may have been others in similar situations who did nothing...but these parents clearly really wanted the kid to go there and felt she deserved it.

Accepting people based on skin color over academic achievement is unacceptable to many.

Back to the topic. Suing organizations because they asked you to move out of the way of people running the marathon. lol

Sounds like the spectators who were 'profiled' don't know how to behave...then became even worse once police spoke to them.

I get that they are saying but I would have to see the video to say whether the fans were treated differently.

Why wouldn't they be treated differently if they were getting in the way of the runners?
