This is bizarre. How is there any proof that this group was being 'spoken to' because of their race? It sounds like they were simply in the way, obstructing the road/runners and they are mad that police addressed them? Emotional stress endured?

I also didn't realize running is considered a white sport...especially when the majority of the top runners who complete the marathon come from Africa.

I just cant...when is this nonsense going to stop? They're pulling Ahmaud Arbery into this?

Another video https://youtu.be/_RXPlQwR5t4?si=XAMw1y3oL3wDxOFt about issues with diversity.

I remember last (?) year there where some issues in Wellesley with one "diverse" group.

They may have felt offended, but I agree that drawing any parallels to the Arbery case is total BS.

so feeling offended = filing a lawsuit? They were in the way. It's actually laughable.

Who cares if they felt "offended"? Get out of the damn street and shut up.

Yes. Where is the humility? Like, you're in the way of people who are running a marathon. Move. This isn't about YOU! Cops now can't even tell certain people to move out of the way without a lawsuit. Good Lord.

I'm not going to speak for them. But the case they're making is that, in that situation, they were treated differently because of their race. Let it play out.

From the article: ".....victimized for running while Black". Yes of course. And: overpolicing and hate are why "running remains a heavily White sport". Would you like to break it to the Kenyans, or shall I? You let it play out, I already know it's the same old crybaby crutch of "racism" rather than personal responsibility for ones actions. It's always somebody else's fault.
