I was wondering if anyone had any firsthand information on the quality of the schools in Plymouth, MA, particularly in the Cedarville area. We are moving there this summer (due to my commute to the Cape and a gift of family land to build on) and have two small children (3 and 1) who will be growing up there, at least for the forseeable future. All I have seen in the few posts here have been the word "mediocre". Is this the case for all the schools (i.e, due to budget constraints, etc) or is it neighborhood/locale dependent? And what exactly does this mean (crowding, old buildings, test scores, etc). I am wondering if we need to plan ahead for private school. I would love to send them to public school, both for financial reasons as well as otherwise, but I don't want to sacrifice their education to do so either. Thanks in advance for any help!
