Hi

Myself and four others are moving from Ireland to Boston/Waltham area on student internship programs. We won't be making big money nor will we be connected to a uni over there so accommodation is a problem. Basically I'm looking for a 3-5 bedroom furnished place to stay, thats in driving distance (30-40 mins max) of Boston and Watham. If anyone could suggest the best towns to look, (websites to check) and type of price range we're talking it would be much appreciated. Cheaper the better, not too worried about the type of area to be honest. Thanks a thousand!

Sobo

You might check with places like Brandeis and Bentley College about local housing. Many colleges have websites where they post apartment listings.

Best of luck!

Default good place to live

if your looking for a fairly reasonably place to live try the west side of boston ,namely hyde park, west roxbury, and roslindale, also south of the city is Quincy. all these places are on public transit, check out the boston globe newspaper online also the irish immergrant .

Try Craigs list--best place to look. I would look in Waltham, Watertown or Brighton. Best of luck!
