I would love to hear some input on the town of Sutton...by my research online, it looks like a very rural town, but close to towns with plenty of amenities (Auburn, Millbury). On greatschools.com the elementary rates lower at 6, but the high school and middle school rate well. If anyone can give a description of the town...we were just up there last week driving through towns to help decide where to settle, and we did not have this one on our list. We liked Franklin, Grafton, Wayland, Sudsbury, Westford and Acton...among some others. Does Sutton have a feel of any of these towns? Thanks!

Sutton is a quiet, pretty town that feels off the beaten path but in reality isn't that far from amenities.

If you're looking for the best schools, Wayland & Sudbury rate well above the others.

My brother raves about Tony's, which is on the top of the hill at the one traffic light.

As said, it's a quiet town on 146 - close to things but hidden away and not overdeveloped. Compared to Grafton, Holden, and Shrewsbury - it flies a bit under the radar too.

EDIT: However, where would you be commuting to? If you're heading to Boston or anything near/inside 128, that'll be a rather long daily trip.

There's a website, WickedLocal.com Local news which has more local news about towns, although I just checked and Sutton isn't in the list. It appears to be for the 495 area in towards Boston. Just for more information for you.
