Just curious if anyone here lives out toward Pittsfield, Lanesboro, Lee, Lenox, Adams, North Adams, etc. I really miss that part of the state, it's so beautiful out there!

There are some Berkshire folks everywhere. Today was gorgeous. And we are all gearing up for a terrific summer. Wilco - the R&R band - is coming to Mass MoCA in North Adams this August for a three day music festival on three stages. It is the biggest news since the museum opened. ARTS AMERICA: Berkshires, Broadway and Beyond

Come back and visit. Not much has changed.

Sorry about forgetting Stockbridge and Great Barrington. I do not know why I keep forgetting those two towns. Without looking at a map, are they are not in the same corridor as the towns I did mention?

My goal is to, IF things work out as I'm planning them to, transfer with my job (once again) to the Pittsfield area. That's going to be at least a year away, but it's on my radar.

When I lived out there for 3 years or so, I was usually bored, but I don't think I ever really appreciated just how beautiful the Berkshires are. Here in Chicopee, as I'm walking home from work on some mornings (I could be getting a car tomorrow, thank the Lord!) I can see the Berkshires and I can only imagine just how pretty it must up there. That IS the Berkshires, right, as I'm walking up Memorial Drive toward South Hadley?

Stockbridge is right next to Lenox and Lee, but Great Barrington's a little south from there. The other towns you named are north of Lee. If you get off the Pike in Lee, Great Barrington and Stockbridge are both in the opposite direction from Pittsfield.

Just went out there recently to visit my son. It's as beautiful out there as it was the day I left in July 2004. Having not been there for so long (and not having the best sense of direction in the world) I only did a little driving around in the city of Pittsfield, no wandering anywhere else. I was still wondering where that ol' couple (they gave my STBX and I some religious counseling before we got married) lived. I don't know if it was in Richmond. I guess I could ask my STBX but she'll just figure "he refuses to divorce me"
