Looks like N. Quincy is having the most walkable amenities around.

Is La Paloma (The Dove) a Hispanic restaurant? What do they serve there?

Oh man, La Paloma sounds very nice. Very Mexican. Even the names are in Spanish.

The got sangria!! I love that drink. Would you say N. Quincy has the most amenities around? Compared to Wollaston and Quincy Center stations?

I think it is all in what you are looking for..all those areas are great...Quincy Center has some fabulous restaurants but you can also get there by the T.

My favorite restaurant is The Fours and they also have http://www.acapulcorestaurants.com/ ~www.thefours.com for Chinese this is the best IMO...Welcome to Great Chow

GREAT CHOW. Miss that placed too! Awesome food. OP, you must try this restaurant if you end up in Quincy.
I think either of the neighborhoods you choose would be fine as far as amenities are concerned.

All right, it's good to know the three areas are fine. That way I have more options. And the restaurants are sounding VERY nice. You see, I LOVE food. It's good to know there's a good variety in Quincy besides big chains.

Now I'm thinking that I will need a broker to help me find a place, because I won't be able to visit as often as I would like and check that apartments out.

Do all brokers have a fee for helping someone finding an apt?

Looks like some ask for a fee and others don't. I'll have to find a couple of them with no fees then.

Thanks a lot for all your input.

Please, post any extra information you might have. It's greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah. I'm a computer programmer with skills on different languages, mainly VS.NET though.

I made a search on CareerBuilder.com and it always show good opportunities in the Boston area. So my plan is to get a job in Boston, an apartment in Quincy and commute via the Red Line.

I would start sending resumes right now, but sadly, I've yet to finish my degree and 99% of the jobs offers I find require a degree. Although I do have 10 years of experience on the field, but I don't know how much weight will that have against a degree requirement. That's why I'm pushing to start my degree this year via U of Phoenix online and start with very serious job/apt hunt in about 2-3 years.
