Say what you will about New England weather but the last few days have been perfection with dry air, cool breezes and the sun shining. Makes you glad you live here and that you are alive!

It's been immaculate.

I went for a run this afternoon, and I can't remember the last time the sky was such a deep blue.

Not too much to complain about with the weather yes.

April, May, September, and October bring along some really nice days. Not too hot, not too cold, can have nice dry and sunny days.

Now if there wasn't so much pollen...

Okay, I'll wreck everything and complain. This season's allergies are wicked. Me, I can see the blue sky out there but I can't even go out because my head is pounding and my sinuses are all blocked up. This is with allergy shots and medication.

I preferred last year's soft rainy spring, the most beautiful New England spring I've ever seen.

Oooops, I didn't see that someone had already mentioned it. LOL. I wanted to be the grouch who rained on everyone's parade.

There's been a bunch of times where I'm outside for a few hours, and it's really nice so I'm enjoying the weather.

Couple hours later, headache and itchy eyes. Fun times.

So have any of you allergy sufferers found any medication or eye drops that work without sleepiness as I write this with a stuffy nose and runny eyes?

Sudafed works for me more than any other remedy. You have to buy it behind the counter now because some idiots make some druggie thing out of it but it helps with the stuffiness and doesn't put you to sleep. (which is nice.)
