I was in maui on vacation and landed a full time decent paying job 52k and then a part time job in a week! Met several awesome locals who basically welcomed me. Is this a good sign ? It seemed way to easy?

That all depends on your circumstances. If you are single, and frugal, that could be great. If you have kids, and like expensive toys that could be completely inadequate income.

But yes, some people get lucky. It's just not something anyone can plan on.

People with job skills that are in demand usually have no problems landing a job.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Either that or fix it until it's broke, your choice. So are you still on vacation or are you working now?

Life on my mainland situation is so so....in fact somewhat negative.
The studio I rent is more than the 2 bed I signed my lease for..... Food costs are similar. I'm sure Ill be fine

Great opportunity for me.

No kids or close family, single.

Made lots of connections and seemed to be easily accepted.

I've heard this doesn't always happen, but when good things open up on maui it's meant to be....

Yes, both jobs require specific skills and education.

We've had a rash of Trolls lately, don't take the assumptions personal.

To answer our question...no it's not usually that easy for people.
