We are thinking of moving to Maui to retire. We've stayed in Kahana and loved it. Will be looking for some part time work. Also looking for someplace to live moderately. Any suggestions?

No direct advice here, but I remember visiting a lady who moved there and bought a home in Lahaina... She offset her retirement and earned extra income renting out her guest house (an addition) to visitors like ourselves. Just something to think about although I do not know how difficult the task might be. But, a great way to meet people from around the world, I'm sure.
