Students from both West Point and the Naval Academy under scrutiny[sic] for what looks like a white power symbol on live TV
A few other examples of others in media glomming on to the smear can be seen at the above link.
The incident was investigated and found to have zip, zero, nada with white supremacy. Fox host Juan Williams was asked to apologize for his implicit accusation, and refused to do so. I'm disappointed in Juan, a writer and pundit whom I've always admired. If he's trying to get ratings by ginning up controversy, this is not the way to do it.
This is an excellent example of why people increasingly do not trust the MSM. And why there is no traction to be gained by attacking Trump over his 'enemy of the people' line.
A majority of those who were surveyed said they had lost trust in the media in recent years...According to a separate Gallup poll from earlier this year that tracked trust in major institutions, newspapers and television news were among the lowest, exceeded only by Congress.
Best is to never ever listen to the bias agenda George the jerk promotes every time he gets near a microphone,,,,,
I never quite understood how an outfit like ABC can have a revolving door between political operatives, and journalists and think people will not notice. But they do it time and time again.
The leftists "woke" media does not support the military, so any opportunity to smear them is going to be seized upon. I suspect this is due to the military being patriotic in the traditional sense.
I will say though, as a former military, those cadets making ANY sign when with the President or in any group formation were just plain stupid to do so. They just went through 4 years of intensive 'opportunity' and they were risking a lot for a little game.
There are time and places for signs such as a POW blinking a message in morse code, or using the distress signal. But this...
Boggles my mind.
As far as the press goes, I expect no better anymore.

They are 18-22 yr. olds. Dwight Eisenhower was a notorious prankster. As a young officer he participated in an experimental cross-country caravan by the Army in 1919.
In Wyoming, Ike enlisted a couple of co-conspirators to stage a phony attack on the caravan by 'Indians.' They spread rumors of an impending attack, and snuck outside the perimeter one night, exchanging war whoops. A frightened sentry discharged his weapon, which meant a required report. Ike escaped reprimand only with difficulty. https://www.nhpr.org/post/five-best-...ranks#stream/0
He went on to lead the country to victory in WWII as Allied Supreme Commander, and then to two terms as US President.
