Do anyone know where I can go to an nice bar lounge or bar for my 25th birthdays this weekend? Maybe somewhere in the downtown area?

it is hard to beat Silky O'Sullivan's on Beale for a good time. i have spent several birthdays there, all were memorable. the dueling pianos start about 9 pm, but there is music most of the time inside and out on the paito, especially on saturdays.

happy birthday!

Local Gastropub, South of Beale, Ernestine and Hazel's, Molly Fontaine, Paula and Raiford's, Brass Door.

Except for Fontaine's, the others are in walking distance of several other bars if you get bored. But Fontaine's may combine uniqueness and atmosphere the best, but I guess that could be the case too with Raiford's and Ernestine and Hazel's too. I guess in Fontaine's case the combination is an eccentric classiness compared to different sorts of eccentricities at the other two. The problem is that Victorian Village is kind of isolated and hasn't resurged yet like Broad, Overton Square, or even Crosstown (but hopefully that's just around the corner with one renovation and another reopening). If you are looking just for one destination, and are driving, Fontaine's a great choice.
