Moving in one month from Salt Lake City to Memphis. The duplex I am renting is in Central Gardens and near Cooper Young. SLC to Memphis is a doozy of a drive and will prove to be exhausting. After reading this forum, the last thing I want to do is leave a packed moving truck parked on the street over night! I wonder if anyone has recommendations for moving companies to come unload--looking for trust worthy people, reasonable rates, etc.

Able Moving Company. I've used them every time I've moved since the 1970s...and so have family, friends - and they even moved a company I worked for. I don't think you'll find anyone cheaper - and they're very reliable. They are a very small locally owned company so, if you want to use them, you need to set up an appointment as early as possible...

Two Men and a Truck and Cooper Moving are big local movers. However, I'm not sure if they would simply come unload, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I'm sure they would, money is money.

wonderful, thank you. I'll give Able Moving Co. a call, I like the idea of supporting small, local businesses from the get go

The best is Riverking. Moved me from Memphis to Houston Texas and from MO to Little Rock. They are great and local!
