If you were to choose the safest place with the most amount of shopping, restaurants, etc - what would it be ? --> Germantown, Cordova, Bartlett, or Collierville? I am considering all of the above but want to know how they compare in your eyes as individuals who know the city...
As an outsider, my list is tentatively looking like this:
1Germantown
2Cordova
3Collierville
4Bartlett

Thanks so much in advance!

Bartlett- never really thought of it as a shopping destination, as in a place to spend the day shopping.

Cordova has lots of shopping, etc. but gets so congested around this time of year, I didn't even go out on G'town Pkwy from Thanksgiving until mid-January.

G'town- decent, would probably top my list for shopping. Can't say that for sure though because...

Collierville- I don't know enough about it to say, rarely felt the need to drive out that far.

^ Wolfchase Galleria is in Bartlett

OP, Are you looking for a good place to shop or live?

Safest to live:

1)G'Town
2)Collierville
3)Bartlett
4)Olive Branch
5)Southaven
6)Cordova

Safest to Shop:

Hands down, Southaven

Technically Yes ^

However, I purchased a car at Serra Chevrolet, directly accross the street from WG and they have a Bartlett address

North side of Hwy 64 is Bartlett. South side is Memphis/Cordova.

My shopping and dining rank:
Cordova
Germantown
Collierville
Bartlett

My living Rank:
Collierville
Germantown (a very close 2nd)
Bartlett
Cordova

I like living in Collierville, but do most of my shopping elsewhere.

I would put Cordova at the bottom for living. Germantown at the top, although that's simply a personal preference - I think Bartlett and Collierville can be just as good as Germantown.

For shopping and dining, it depends on what you want. Cordova has the most chain restaurants and stores, while I think Germantown will have more boutiques and non-chain restaurants.

This is EXTREMELY helpful! Thank you all!
I see that most are putting Cordova at the bottom for living! Any particular reason(s) why?
