Been this way since birth! Put my shirts on backwards, shoes on the wrong feet. Polarized plug wrong way into outlets.

I know that when I do things like this I am overwhelmed and in a hurry. Trying to put the dishes in the fridge and the milk in the cupboard. LOL

But it's all the time with me. And forgetfulness? One of these days I will either burn the house down because I always leave stove burners on, or will flood the upstairs because I always leave the sink running. My long-term memory is considered by some to be "uncanny", my short-term? Non-existent. I was conceived in the late 1960s, it that means anything.

Thank you, and others, for finally daring to reply to this thread. This backwards thing is not a joke! Pants on backwards, shirts, CDs or DVDs wrong way down in the player, etc.
