Los Angeles and Mexico City are very similar, they are both huge, and consantly talked about For example, LA has the most traffic, Mexico city most contaminated, and also they are also amired, LA is a fashion, entertainment, finnancial, and cultural capital of the world, also LA is the Entertaiment capital of the world, home of Hollywood, Disneyland, ect.
Also mexico city can be know for the mexican film production, they are both huge tourist destinations espacially LA, LA recives millions of tourist yearly, because of its beaches, theme parks, outdoors, movie studios, and Hollywood, and mexico city is the capital of our nation and has many historical places. Los Angeles and Mexico City are very busy cities also they are both considered Megacities, LA's international airport is the 5th buisiest internatinal and national traveler airport in the world with 60 million, also the Port of LA is the 5th busiest and Largest in the world, and as for mexico city it has the most buisiest airport in latin america, and most populous in mexico, with about 22,000,000 as Los Angeles has 20,500,000 people, but in size Los Angeles is Larger than Mexico city by alot Mexico city is 7,000 Km2 and Los Angeles is 12,000 Km2. Also Los angeles has the largest freeway system in America, and Mexico city has the largest highway system in Mexico, as you can see Mexico city and LA can be very alike, can Mexico city be called tha Los Angeles Of Latin America.

I don't see it, Mexico has nothing to copy to LA, Mexico was a big city before LA even exist.

Mexico City has a millenarian history and culture, calling Mexico the LA of Latin America is disrespectful IMO.

I can't see how those 2 cities compare with each other. L.A. has a lot more going for it than Mexico City does. I think Mexico City is more like Rio de Janeiro than L.A.

DF is more like NYC than LA, although it's not like any city in the US. Particularly because of its ancient ruins and buildings going back centuries.

Its not uncommon to hear people in the westside of LA or down in Orange County to refer to Mexico City as just a larger version of East LA. Of course its nothing in common, but you hear that comment quite often from people who think they have seen Mexico because they went to Tijuana 20 years ago or they took a Mexican cruise once.

Mexico City is a cesspool filled with crime and Mexican's. LA is a cesspool filled with crime and Mexican's. Yep, the two are the same.
