I'll keep this short..

My best friend and I just spent the past week in Mexico DF and we had the most fabulous time!

My first trip to Mexico City was all about the sightseeing, monuments & museums but this one was all about MC at night, what a completely different experience! The nightlife and social scene in this capital are exciting and seemingly safe. We took cabs from sitio de taxis at every hour of the night/morning, hailed cabs off the street during the day, had no problems at all, felt completely safe all throughout our stay.

Despite all of our late night ventures I still managed to take some cool pics of this crazy capital.

Great photos. It's a very cool and misunderstood city. Even after a full week there I feel like I haven't scratched the surface of Mexico City.

Great pics. I clicked on the link below, the SkyscraperCity one, and the last photo you have posted is of my street in Roma! Pretty neat. You're looking down my street where it meets Medellin. Literally 10 seconds walking from where you took that photo is from where I am typing from right now. How strange.

Wow!
I love this area, so gritty but charming.

One thing that struck me were the amount of Colombian restaurants and markets in the area, is there a sizable Colombian population in DF?

Here's another gritty shot from the streets of Roma, do you recognize it?

That's the other side. Yeah, I'm not really sure why that area is like, "Colombia Town" but it's really only that area. You won't find that concentration of Colombian restaurants etc. in any other part of the city. I always thought it was ironic that a street named Medellin was located in the center of a concentrated Colombian area (I think this is purely by accident and Medellin is also the name of a town in Veracruz which is most likely why it has the name).
