Mexico was conquered, Mexico was not colonized.

There is a difference between conquering and colonizing. INDIA WAS CONQUERED BY THE BRITISH...... AUSTRALIA WAS COLONIZED BY THE BRITISH.

CONQUERING: When a territory has an advanced civilization living in it, there are laws, rules and cultural norms..... then a foreign civilization comes and rules it. (SORT OF LIKE THE ROMAN EMPIRE USED TO DO WITH MANY OTHER PEOPLES LIKE THE GREEKS, OR THE BRITISH DID IN INDIA)

COLONIZING: When you have pretty much a no man's territory..... Then that territory, everything and everyone in it become part of a foreign power that comes and takes over it. Mexico is the result of centuries of Indian-Spanish miscegenation.

And were not millions. Actually from all the tribes who lived in Mexico only Tlaxcaltecas fight against the Aztecs.

The Maya, Tarascos, Lacandon, Huichol, Yaquis, etc. They were not part of this war.
