Anyone go to this border town for dental work?

As I live in Texas, it is closer than Los Algodones.

I probably didn't spell it right, sry.

Wouldn't the dentist be more important than the town?

Hi , I did a lot of online research and was set to go to Fernando de la Rosa dds, but found a resonable priced dentist in Tampa. He practiced in Cal. for years and many people on RV forums recommend him . Be carefull many there not so good. It is like a 10 day wait for crowns. Also would use the U.S. lab. if that is what you need.

I live in Mcallen and go to Progreso for dental work. They do quality work at a very reasonable price. I got 10 crowns put in a couple of years ago for $150 each. They are warrantied for a year and the dentist I visit has them made at a US lab. It doesn't matter much as the work they do in Mex is just as good. How much do you think I would have paid here in the US? Probably 10x as much. There are many dentists to choose from but I could recommend if interested.

Care to share your dental clinic name? I hope to go sometime in May or so.

They have US phone numbers and the staff speaks English. If you tell them you are coming in from out of town, they will expedite the lab work. There are others but this is my go-to place for some time now.
