Are braces cheaper in mexico? about how much? I just need to move one tooth.

It should be very cheap if you only want to move one tooth.

I had braces for the second time to close the gaps that opened up from having the 4 first molars extracted. I also had one tooth that had rotated itself 90 degrees, as well as all the rest of them migrating around. (I now wear my retainer nightly). The estimate in the States at the time I had this done was $4600. In Piedras Negras, it cost me $1750. (Actually, it only cost me $250; the other $1500 was paid by U.S. dental insurance). That included all visits, retainers, and two years of after-care.

I am under baces treatmet right now, and it will cost me around 1000 usd, to pay within 1 year, it includes the whole treatment, of course, the dentist is my friend, but anyway, he is not really discounting very much, some of my students are under treatment too, and they tell me their parents are paying around 1200 usd.
