Or is it majority-based mayors from now on?
Odds of seeing one again? Who knows. I'd say they're going to be Hispanic for some time though not necessarily Cuban.

I actually don't care what race or ethnicity the person is as long as they do good things. But it seems to me that some people in the commission just look for what's good for Cubans. I don't like that. You have to care about everybody living in the city, not even bother wether they are Black or White, just that they are people, and of course the city. What's best for the city and it's residents.

Agreed. Unfortunately the district lines within the city commission seem to divide along socioeconomic and racial lines as well. Perhaps re-drawing the district lines would help to do away with the dividing lines along ethnic interests (not that I see that happening soon).

I couldn't belive it when I heard this BS on the news. That guy the only thing he "sings or raps" is s#$% about women and only makes stupid remixes and ruins original songs. Disgusting

Naw, I'm talking about Kendall and the surround areas which are kinda acceptable areas. Finding bargains it's been pretty hard since most people want to rent now after losing their houses and/or jobs... sad but true

We finally agree, alelluyah! you're absolutely right! Do well without looking to somebody in particular. Also they should stop talking about Fidel, it's annoying. They think everybody in Miami is from Cuba, this is absolutely wrong.

Flyers

I think that some "gerrymandering" would be extremely useful in Miami.

Well, many Hispanics would rather vote an Anglo mayor that represents them well than a Hispanic "token" along the lines of Maurice Ferré.

Well, it's America. I couldn't care less about Israel and that place and their inhabitants is all over on every paper in Southern Florida. They think everybody in Southern Florida is a Jew.

What about the Holocaust and Holocaust Days, Holocaust Memorials....? Real annoying, I guess it grows to be annoying even for many Jews.

What about Slavery, "African Pride"....

So it goes with the landscape..

This is how my move to Miami ended up: I told mi wife, I didn't want to move. I am still in Minnesota and bought our income property from her . The place she lives is really cool. She lives in a high rise building in the Brickell Area and works two blocks away from her office. We are now divorced.
