I myself like to pick up a copy of this after going grocery shopping, just to kinda see what's in it, read the opinions, refer to restaurants and cultural happenings.

Do you find this local paper to be useful in your daily life? What do you use it for?

I like the new times, and their takes on some stories that either would get blown over, or not mentioned at all in the conventional media.

New Times is a great local paper. Tons of events and concerts advertise in there so you can keep up with whats going on.

I don't read it regularly, but I've found several good restaurants through their reviews.

I also like their feature articles--sometimes they're hard-hitting, other times they're full of shading and misrepresentation, but I like that they do articles on things no one else will touch.
