You can look at a census map prior to moving, and make sure that you will feel comfortable and in your "zone" with others of your type. I suggest, North Dakota, Montana or Idaho. Maybe St. George, UT, it is warm there, and filled with upper middle class white folk. Or here in Florida, the Villiages is one area you would probably feel more at home.

If they did that anywhere else in the US, they would get beat unrecognizable.
Ok, this is the second time you talk about violence. If in any other part of America, people get beat senseless for honking, then the rest of America is not as civil as Miami.

Why would you suggest some place so far away?

I stand corrected, Miami is the most civilized place in America.

A place where human rights and dignity reigns supreme above ones own self interest. A kind gentle place where sensibility rules, and law and order and respect for others is held in the highest of regards.

It's a compassionate, understanding and patient city where the sense of fair play is above reproach, while holding absolutely steadfast to basic American values of civil-liberties, justice and equality for all.

It's a city completely void of prejudice and malice, and defends it's residents dignity with fervor and to the letter of the constitution in which this Miami, the GREATEST of all US cites and country was originally founded.

You're late to the bashing me party Winter. He's trying to be funny.

I actually liked Utah, Zion nat park is beautiful and UT skiing is world class. I didn't care for Bryce Canyon too much and all the hoodoos hoopla, but Zion is nice. I recommend it if your up that way.

I want to know what he means by "far away"

Far away from?? Civilization? Major businesses? Touristic attractions?

Besides a downtown and proximity to a CBD, I don't think North Dakota, Idaho, or else, are different from your old town.

I don't know either. Dallas area has about 8 million people in it and is driven by oil and banking. I don't know if the whole state of Idaho has 8 million in it and my uneducated guess is it's economy is driven by potatoes?

Don't have a clue about either of those states and why would I want to move up there anyway? I'm just leaving Dade for Broward, we like Florida fine.

Funny story about the honking. I was just in midtown at 36th and Miami ave at that shopping center. I was stuck waiting for cars in front of me to park. The guy behind me kept honking I guess at the car 3 cars in front of me like doing that was going to make the guy do something different. It didn't have any effect at all on any of us, we were all stuck.
