Gee, I leave for a few days and people are at each others throats. I'm seeing the same 'BIG ISSUES' arise within our virtual community, which are:
Racism and how it does/doesn't exist/people defending it
Social hierarchies
Supposedly 'bad'/'unsafe' areas
Materialism
Joblessness
Knowing Spanish
AND IT USUALLY(a lot of the time) NEVER DEALS WITH THE CURRENT DISCUSSION!!!
I mean, what ever happened to us discussing things in civilized manner without personal feelings getting involved?
Or, becoming a rabid animal frothing at the mouth?
I have been here for almost a year in this city, and yes, I had some MAJOR speed bumps within the first two weeks I was here, but I'm okay. Currently, I'm just having a hard time finding a job where I do not need to know a second language to communicate. Maybe I will hire a translator.
In any case, can we all be friends again? All this arguing and personal attacks are getting out of hand.
