Many book stores have closed lately. Most people are buying books online nowadays. Your best bet would be to hit the thrift stores like the Goodwills.

I would just go to amazon.com
This is one of the reasons I save a decent amount of my books from school which I enjoyed. I want fill up book shelves. I will have a decent amount. I also buy some random books I like on Amazon every now and then.

The Barnes and Noble on Miracle Mile had a small used book section appear. Whether it is still there I don't know.
