It is going to be hot, rainy and humid. Oh and thunderstorms love them.

thanks everyone for ur quick responses , actually I come from one of the hottest and driest cities ever. and humidity isnt much of a problem as ive been to both salalah and dubai and i found it quiet bearable

what about clothing? i guess flip flops and shorts are a must in such situations

The lighter the clothing the more comfortable you will be.

Yes - it is hot and there will be thunderstorms practically daily but - but Miami can be a fun city - especially for a limited time - so make sure you visit South Beach; Coconut Grove; the Keys - the drive over the 8(?) mile bridge; go to John Pennekamp; visit Knauss Berry Farm (if its open) in Homestead. Go up to Palm Beacn and Fort Lauderdale. Enjoy your visit.
