If so what do you miss the most?

I miss the mountains and the waterfalls and the change of seasons.

I also miss nc barbecue and good southern cooking!!! I think I miss the food the most.

Miss only the ability to purchase/rent housing at a low cost to income ratio, added with that, the ability to have some acres right outside the city within a reasonable cost.

Other than that, not a single thing.

I don't miss anything because I still have my condo in downtown Raleigh. In fact, I'll be there next week. :-) Should I bring back some barbecue for you? Will that be Eastern or Western???

But, to your question....what do I miss when I am in Miami???
1. Good, polite service
2. 24 hour Harris Teeter (grocery store for those who don't know it)
3. Trader Joe's
4. Azaleas and Dogwoods
5. The driving (don't get me started on Miami drivers)
6. Smoke free bars and nightclubs. For that matter, smoke free everything.

Common now, we get NC BBQ in VA and in NC you get VA BBQ.

Just having fun, sorry you are missing home.

Thanks, va_lucky!

well as for the barbecue - I found a solution of sorts lol -

I order my barbecue plain and sneak my sauce into the restaurant and pour it on the sandwich!!

Also The Pit in the everglades have a variety of sauces - not ENC style but close.
