Hi everyone,

I am considering relocating to Miami from Southern California. I would be able to keep my current job and work from home but wanted to check job opportunities before moving.

I work as a marketing manager and wanted to know where most business jobs were located in South Florida.

Are there many jobs in Miami? How about Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton?

What are the best options?

Thanks a lot for your help

Default Think about it twice

If I were you I'd think about it long and hard before making that move...Reasons: 1). Your wages will decrease by 40% 2). the climate is extremely different than SoCal 3). not the laid-back area that you're use to 4). HURRICANES 5). I'd say traffic, but it's just as bad in SoCal 6). extremely rude people 7). you need to speak Spanish in Miami, not in SoCal

There are many more hidden reasons why I wouldn't live in Miami again (30 year veteran) but they are too numerous to name here.

his cost of living will decrease too...

the truth is that Miamians do not want more competition, that is why a few people will tell you to stay where you are.

Miami is a paradise.
