Hey guys.. I'm going to be coming back to Miami for a visit coming up and saw a concert that was playing at Churchill's....

Anyways this place is located at NE2 and N52nd street.... that is the complete hood. Has anyone been there? Is it safe to go around the area? I've driven through that part of town before and it didn't really look like anywhere to get out of the car... especially at night.

Anyone have any experiences?

Yeah, I've been there...

The area is really not scary, but I never walked the surrounding streets... I guess walking is a different story.

Been there a few times, the area is sketchy but never had a problem myself. One time though when I was leaving with a few friends we saw 2 older drunk Haitian dudes arguing loudly in kreyol, they threw a few wild swings at each other, wrestled on the ground for a bit then they just walked off jabbering away like old friends

Be sure to check out the record store next door to Churchill's, cool place.

The area is not the best but really if your just going to churchills I wouldn't worry about it. That really is the absolute fringe of the start of some bad areas but it's a fairly busy street and not an area I would worry about parking my car in. I drive by there all the time. Just no reason to be walking around at night. During the day the area is completely fine.

Great place! I go there a lot and I have never had a problem. Dont leave valuables in your car just in case. Great to ride a motorcycle to.

Yeah I thought it looked a little weird myself. I don't think I'm going to end up going, but it is a possibliity.

I'm in Michigan right now, the rent prices in Miami got to me hahaha. About 1/3 that here, but I'm planning out my next move sometime in the next few months.

Traveling, eh? Muy Coolio! It's good to see the world/USA while you're young and able. Once you knock somebody up your freedom is gone forever, so yeah cool enjoy it while ya can.

When ya get bored with it, just do what I did and find a crackhouse on SoBe and live there. Cheap, easy access to all the fun, lots of drunk hoze passing out in yer room, work two days a week. Nothing to worry about, baseheads are always punks. All ya need is $500 a month and a can of roach spray and ya got it made!
