My son and dil are going to Cavalia tomorrow and I wanted to know if anyone knows if you can take Metrorail there? Would it be easier to drive? They're coming from West Kendall. My dil would be driving and she's from AZ, hasn't lived here too long and has never been to that area so I thought maybe driving to Metrorail might be easier.

Is the Omni station fairly close? Just want to see time wise how long the walk is so they can estimate how long it'll take to get there.

You can't take Metrorail that close to BCP, but you can take Metrorail to Government Center and then transfer to the Metromover Outer Loop. If they do that then they'll want to get off Metromover at the Eleventh Street station, not Omni/Arsht. From Eleventh Street it's just a block away, 3 minutes or so to walk.

Since it's Sunday there shouldn't be too much traffic, so it might be easier to drive.

You're going to have to weigh the pros and cons, Metrorail = parking, $4 at Dadeland South (I would suggest driving there and just getting on Metrorail from there) and fare per person, $2 each way, for a total for the day of $12.

If they can find parking for the time they're downtown for less than $12, I would just drive. As I said, the weekend shouldn't be much traffic.

Thanks. They just told me they bought a parking pass so they're driving. I hope they don't get lost. Traffic shouldn't be too bad. The show's at 2 so it's daytime driving.

They said the show was amazing and they both highly recommend it to anyone. The ended up driving up US1 and said it wasn't too bad.

Here's the Herald's review of the show:
