You know what's funny about Miami?
The fact that you can be int the most Non-Latin European hood in SF to later find out through some statistic that such neighborhood is over 50% Cuban. lol

I wouldn't be surprised if Liberty City was over 70% Cuban...
I wouldn't be surprised if someone backs this up by saying that Cubans have been living in that area since the 1800's...
I wouldn't be surprised even if they show historical proof...
I wouldn't be surprised if there is a link saying that Liberty City blacks are of Cuban ancestry, even if they root to Georgia or the Carolinas.

The mentioned examples might not be "true", but it wouldn't be surprising to actually see them turning into "Facts".

Heck... I couldn't possibly be surprised if they tell me that New York Jews and Russians residing in Boca Raton and Sunny Isles are actually Cubans who came to America as Red Russians.

The Argentinians who came to Miami in 2000 were Cubans? HUmmm... I can actually believe that. After all these years living in Miami I can even accept the "POSSIBLE FACT" that Mexicans in Homestead are actually Cubans with a sombrero.

Nothing surprises me anymore.

North Miami Beach? Google Maps says there's a neighborhood called Uleta right near the mall.

And just putting it out there, but the OP said they were looking for a mix of ethnicities, so an all-Black or all-White area won't fit the bill.

I do not know how a person could tell if someone was Cuban, Argentinian, American, African, German, etc. I will see a bright white guy rolling out Spanish, and I will see what looks like a stereotypical Spanish guy and he would end up being from France. There is this black, straight from Africa looking guy in my friend's building, and he is from Uruguay.

our melting pot only has limited ingredients :P and in places where you do see people of all backgrounds, they are usually transient visitors.

Miami Shores is very nice and diverse, check it out. I love it.
Coral Gables also has a very diverse population but I think it's too expensive.
I think Kendall it's very diverse too, and it's cheaper than the second one.

If you compare kENDALL (east and west, same difference) to sweetwater, hialeah, shenandoah, opalocka, little haiti, little havana, westchester, carol city, homestead, the cutltes, overtown, etc... then yes, Kendall is a melting pot.

You only find diversity in Miami Beach.
