I am looking for a job in Miami. How saturated is the job market down here? I would like something in a system admin capacity or network admin. Or something office based?

Not to sure about the hard labour in the blazing sun right now but I will see.

What leads can I use?

I have tried craigslist but nothing yet. I am not a latino does that matter?

Thanks,

I do not know about those chosen fields but I was looking for a job in the medical field and to me Miami has an influx of them.

Why Miami and where are you coming from? Others have posted that Network/System admin positions here are hard to find now.

I tried looking for a job in Miami, but had to give it up. I think I swallowed to much seawater and came down with acid influx disease. So I just gave up on that and sold drugs like everyone else.

There's always opportunities in the drug dealing business. Or you could do plastic surgery. No need for school, just get a copy of Plastic Surgery for Dummies, a bottle fix-a-flat, and some cement, and you can open for business.

Of course if that all fails, you could just become a cannibal. Chicks dig 'em!

Fear mongering? If none of those work out you could always join the Miami Dade Police Department as it seems that is what they do best. Just remember: shoot first, ask questions later.

Yeah, I'm job hunting now since I'm almost done with school. Problem is a good number of jobs are looking for attractive or bilingual candidates. Why are so many jobs asking for photos of yourself down here? I'm overweight, Black, and I know little Spanish...I feel like I was screwed the day I moved here.

Being bilingual is overrated IMO. Hasn't helped me at all. I hate it when I hear hispanic people that only know Spanish say "If I knew English I'd be raking in the big bucks right now". Sure...

I've noticed that lately myself... isn't that illegal?
