Well this answer is hard to answer, as it really depends on what type of car you are fixing, what type of cigarettes you are smoking or what type of oil you put into your car, ect...

I can say this, The Cost Of Living in Miami is higher than many parts of this country. Actually Miami was ranked #39 Most Expensive Cities in The WORLD. The only other U.S. cities that were higher than Miami were the usual LA, Chicago, New York and San Fran. I am surprised by this as I would of thought other US cities would of been on there before Miami like Seattle for instance.

By oil, I think you mean what in the US people call gasoline or gas. It costs around, what $2.75 per gallon: if appx. 4 liters to the gallon, that's around $0.6875 to the litre or roughly 0.50 euros to the litre, probably still relatively cheap by European standards. I think the average car gets around 18 miles to the gallon, but it can range from a little 6 to as much as 30 and up if a hybrid engine.

Credit card interest rates vary according to several variables, including credit score, but take an 18% annual interest rate as a guide (1.5% per month), but it can go as high as around 27%. If by credit card insurance you mean identity theft insurance, it can range from about $7 to $12 a month.

Food can be very expensive if you shop in the big chain supermarkets like Publix (search for recent thread on Publix), but you can save up to 75% if you buy fresh produce at open-air stands/farmers markets and dry goods at discount stores like Walmart, Target, Costco, etc.

Clothes can be relatively cheap in the US, but it all depends on where you shop.

No idea about car repairs and cigarettes, sorry.
