Seriously hard to choose just one. I know good Cuban of course and the reality of it is always better at home then I ever get anywhere else. But I go through food phases and right now Peruvian is my favorite. If I were ever to leave Miami I would sure miss all this diverse Latin food.

We have family in North Carolina and only two Cuban restrurants in those necks of the woods and they DARED to charged twelve dollars for a bowl of rice and black beans!

sushi is not eaten by half of the Peruvian population... You don't even see the word sushi at restaurants down there.

Florida has my favorite food, Churrasco steak (Argentine) drenched in Chimichurri sauce (Central American) and white rice (common in the American continent) cooked by a Nicaraguan chef in a Cuban restaurant (La Carreta/Versailles) in Miami.

Food in Miami is not found in the rest of the continent, what we have here is a blend of cuisine, the best!

And you forgot to mention the U.S. in your poll, many of its states are "Hispanic".

You have to eat an arepa con carne mechada, or a cachapa con queso de mano y cochino frito, as for dessert one quesillo or torta tres leches... ask for that in any venezuelan food place.

Just went to El Palacio de los Jugos and my love for cuban was reaffirmed! Ecuadorian ceviche almost had it in first until that trip.
