I don't know why the city allows this ****! The other day I was on 27th ave and below it had two additional names placed on it 'insertname' way and such;

Even streets with Names already have sub names now beneath this serves to purpose and I don't see other cities doing this.

Just venting

Maybe it's like that Miami Art Museum. If you donate enough you can have your name placed anywhere.

Same thing with schools, ever one built since the 80's is named after someone. When you live in an area like Miami that has few reasons to exist, there is nothing to do but try and seem important. I have to thank someone that took a bit of green paint and covered up the new name part of the street by my parent's home. Nobody has put the name back, thankfully.

I agree. I also really hate when a sign only shows the number or name, yet whatever you're looking for lists just the name/number.

Maybe people feel the need to do it because we're on a numbered grid system (outside of Coral Gables)? Agreed that it's annoying though.

The naming is no that bad but I hate when the insert a whole name like Jose Canseco... tacky. Have they named a street after Lebron James yet?

I hate when they put names as well, I noticed one street had multiple names only a few blocks apart. I wonder how much it costs to put your name on these streets?

I wished they would have named the streets after the 1972 Dolphins, Csonka Boulevard, Griese Street, Kiik Avenue, Warfield Way and Little Lane.

That's Miami for ya.

Soon Lebron James will have a street named after him, the same can be said for Dwyane.

The county is a joke.
