Doral and Pinecrest are the safest areas in the county.

Those crime maps and stats are not always accurate. Many incorporated municipalities are know for not reporting all of their crime stats. The county on the other hand is for the most part honest when it comes to reporting their crime stats. I still believe that Pinecrest and Doral have some of the lowest crime incidents in the county but it might be slightly skewed.

Over what period of time? When you click on the link, it defaults to the most recent week. That's not necessarily representative of what a true crime rate would be over a more comprehensive period of time.

Not all municipalities report to that site.

Doral PD doesn't - so you are not getting a realistic view of that city. Pinecrest does. You also have a delay in posting and as the previous poster stated - don't just look at last week. Look at a few months back.

Not saying that any of the areas mentioned are not safe - just that you need to realize what you are looking at.

Can we conclude that Hialeah, Miami Gardens, Miami Beach are entirely crime free?

The link only shows the past week, so, yes, past week they were entirely crime free. If you modify the dates you'll see how the maps statistics change.

I did, widened the search from May 1 to June 16, still only one crime reported in Miami Beach (and that includes MDW) and almost nothing in Hialeah or Miami Gardens.

Right. So I reiterate the question I asked earlier: What period of time serves as the basis for your claim that Doral & Pinecrest are the safest areas of the county?
