Actually it is happening everywhere. The criminals have discovered how easy and convenient it is.

Really only in every single city in the world. Stupid things like this happen everywhere and all the time. Hardly news worthy. Only WSVN is more like it.

Only an idiot would do this with a truck with his phone number on it.

LOL! People never learn, do they?
I remember back in 2004 seeing footage posted from a private security cam someone set up in front of their Tempe, Az. home to fight the recurring theft of their election-related yard sign.
A woman got busted lifting the sign. She stopped her grab at one point when a car drove by & pretended that she was tying her shoe but then grabbed the sign & tossed it into her trunk. The homeowner posted the vid online & I believe went to the police about it
Folks can be so brazen like that so I love it when they are caught.

No one is this stupid... this sounds fishy.

Maybe he was forced/extorted to do it by some other powerful ppl, or it's simply part of an strategy plan and he needed to sacrifice himself for the purpose.

I'm too skeptical about this. Maybe the guy is sending some messages with his actions... I'm inclined to say that he (and perhaps a possible crew) already knew about this camera. Maybe they were the same people who called the cops on themselves.

Weird...the interesting thing is how stupid he did that (and how stupid is doing that in the first place, clearly).

Frankly my first impression on seeing this article on the site itself was: at least things must be not that bad, they're doing that sort of crime coverage. Probably because it was uncommon though, the actual reason...

Some people are just stupid. Don't let this guy fix your awning. He might put it upside down LOL.
