The funny thing is that a lot of the opponents to legal cannabis have smoked several joints and have been high, and I have never used cannabis, never been drunk, or high on anything. If any of those hypocrites like Clinton, Bush, Obama and the like would have been caught for breaking the law they would not have has the opportunities they had. What bugs me is that governments are so arrogant they think they can ban a plant. It shows the world what a backwards state Floriduh is.

While I support the legalization of marijuana, the above statement is idiotic. Using that rationale, heroin should be legal since it, too, is derived from a plant.

I have yet to see any of his post that make any sense, so I just laugh at them.

Guess what, heroin is derived from morphine which is derived from a legal plant, the poppy. You do know that you can go into any supermarket and buy something called poppy seeds, right? I believe that all things should be legal to possess, and only the use of such items should be subject to scrutiny. The Big Brother advocates think that laws solve problems. The fact is that the more laws you have the more criminals you make. Instead of being an idiot, how about treating a medical problem with medicine, not the goon squad.

Talk about being backwards, crimes are committed by people who make wrong choices.

Given the size of the "law" and the inability for anyone to understand it, everyone, including you violates several laws each day. Fortunately it is impossible to enforce them always.

tallrick is absolutely right on this one. Just take the tax code for example; not even expensive CPAs guarantee that they will file certain tax forms correctly, and the same goes in several countries that I know, not just the US.

And these ambiguities in the law are not by accident.

I guess it's a start. But they need to do it with all drugs.
